This is awful. Ever worse are all the terrible people in this thread cheering people getting hit by a car. The same hypocrites that were appalled when this happened in Berlin.

I thought the same before I watched the video. If you are locking arms and willfully blocking the road, you're an idiot and should probably wake up that morning and go ahead and notify your health insurance carrier of the inevitable claim forthcoming.

No. A person should not die for protesting. It is their right. However, when protesters go out of their way to make things difficult for other people, you can't be surprised when some of them catch the bad end of someone's fist....or car.

I think I may be a product of my era and my environment but I have probably never seen a current protest march in the US which impressed me as well thought out or effective.
The typical participant usually seems unable to explain why they are even marching. I find myself more moved by a good argument backed by meaningful statistics that demonstrate an issue needs to be adressed.
