Thank you, Breesus. This is exactly why nobody has dared to oppose them, even though 85-90% of our campus and 95% of our alumni are strongly against this "protest". Nobody wants to risk their reputation by being called a racist.

When's the eggs coming out.... If I were a Mizzou student, I'd start chunking....

I had a pretty heated conversation with some black lives supporters, I wasn't even arguing with them I was just trying to get them to clearly state what they wanted. They acted like the question was racist.

Last year I got into a debate with an avid LGBT supporter. She told me the current gay marriage debate is the same as the civil rights movement.

I asked her if she understood the history and circumstances of the Civil Rights movement and asked her to provide me an example of the current treatment of gays in America that rivals the treatment of African Americans in the early 1900s - today.

I will never forget her high pitched, yelled answer into my face:

"You're an a-hole and you're obviously a bigot and a racist. You need to stop spreading your bullshite and learn to respect other people."

The sheer ignorance and hypocrisy of that statement will stay with me for a long time.

It's very rare to find someone at protests like these or supporters of protests like these that can even explain why they're upset much less hold an honest debate about the circumstances and reasons behind the protest.

It's so much more than risking your reputation. You risk your job and your livelihood. You can be fired or expelled for even daring to verbally challenge these people. I mean the president of the United States backs these people and supports them.

The leaders of our country from local politicians to the president should be calling for peace. They should be asking all the citizens of their jurisdiction to keep level heads and to remain civil to strangers.

Instead, the vast majority of our leaders pander to these morons which only emboldens them and further entrenches their ignorance.

That was cultural appropriation on her part. She needs to check her white privilege and stop trivializing the horrific pre-1970 treatment of Africab-Americans by comparing her own situation to theirs.

Is it really so uncommon for people to say racist things that when it happens twice we have to fire a university president, go on strike, etc?

That it is so uncommon seems remarkable to me, in a good way.

One could almost start to believe that this was a pre-planned and orchestrated "movement" looking for a proximate cause.
