Damn, that's tough to watch. That woman was a trooper though. She wasn't gonna let them get her baby. Maybe the little girl won't be as traumatized since she looks young enough to where she won't remember her mother dying as she lay over her to protect her from a bunch of animals.

Watch the video again. As the car pulls up and slows down she swaps the baby to her right arm, reaches down with her left hand and pushes her waistband down exposing a gun. She's no hero.

She was that day. Gun or not she got murdered while holding her small child. She protected the child after taking a fatal shot. Use whatever narrative you want, she was a hero that day.
