Oh so it started on the westbank? I thought it ended there, have a bunch of peeps in Gretna. Need to check on them, some of them are from out of town working one of our projects.

I have an old friend that lives near Friscoville & Bienvenue in Arabi -- we haven't talked in years, but wondering how they're doing right now. Anyone know if this particular area was hit hard or if it was more away from the river?

Any word on if Jackson Barracks took a hit? Do they keep stuff staged there for disaster relief?

I have a close friend who lives right there on Estaban two blocks upriver. He had no damage. But about one more block away from the river from there I'm hearing there's some damage.

That’s no good.

Looks like the realtor signs for Chris Smith hung on, though.

Here's video from what looks to be the start of the tornado on the Westbank. The canal in the video is the dividing line between Harvey and Gretna.

So the houses that are completely gone in Arabi what happens to the people? Does the tornado lift the people up and throw them? I can’t fathom what I would do.

What the hell is funny about it?

We all know there will be damage and injuries and that shits not funny and something we’ve all dealt with.

But it’s a group of people dropping f bombs, drinking beer, filming storms, saying shite like… wut was da? And for good measure a shite for when the power goes out.

It’s a pretty accurate depiction.

Yeah that’s my people. Believe me right now they are doing anything they can to help out. It was just in the moment and they were obviously drinking.

We dealt with this last night in Dallas. 10 tornados touched down. Sad scene in NOLA too.
