Video: giant squid sighted in Gulf of Mexico

The squid appeared to wrap its tentacles around the NOAA's underwater stealth camera called the Medusa before quickly swimming away. Scientists cited the creature's behavior as a normal reaction any animal would have to what, at first, appeared to be prey.

I've heard stories about Giant Squid and they legit terrify me. The pure thought of those things existing is my nightmare

We know less about the deepest depths of the ocean than we do space. No telling what is down there undiscovered.
I'd love to see more focus on the ocean. Or maybe they do know whats down there and they just aren't telling us
