Generally not cops there, they occasionally will have security. There are few cops in the east period, so your chances of getting in and out are very high.

I dont like my chances of getting jumped by a gang of thugs and getting shot in the face

ETA: Looks like the new Jurassic Park has been filming there.

They only used the parking lot though. They didn't film anything inside of the park.

Actually Lake Forrest is a nice area of the East and then the area that is further down is 80% Vietnamese, so your chances of running across thugs isn't that high. Hipster graffiti artist, maybe.

Every time I've been by there recently, it is always packed with people working in there. Last time I went by, there were like 4 cranes in the place

Are they tearing it down?
I see a ton of money that could be made from scrap metals - aluminum, stainless, etc.

How much $$$ would it take to get you to take that splash ride through the cesspool?

The guy filming is such a douchebag.

Issue is the lease Six Flags had with the city. City owned the land and contents, Six Flags leased the park. Six Flags reneged on their lease after Katrina, didn't pay the rent, didn't use insurance to rebuild the park, then came in and salvaged a bunch of stuff the city says they own.

As far as I know, the lawsuit is still out there.

He carried a video camera around. There is no talent involved. My 8 yr old son can do that.

It definitely looked like it to me. I was busy dodging burnt up cars while driving, so I never hung around and watched them

I served on a jury last year for a murder that was a retaliation for another murder that happened at Six Flags. They drove his arse there from the Westbank, shot him, and left him there dead as frick.

Pretty dumb when you consider all the great places in the East you could dump a body.
