He’s more than likely a safer driver than 99% of the people under 40 on the road these days who drive around with their heads buried in their cell phones.
Nah. He's probably just as dangerous.

About 50,000 people die every year in car crashes. A big reason why is because people drive too fast. You’re something like 10x less likely to survive if you are hit at 30 mph vs 20 mph. Many more Americans have died in car crashes since 2000 than in both world wars combined.
I’m sorry but idc if he was even just going 30 in a 25. It’s one thing to speed on the interstate, it’s another to speed on an arterial, and a whole other thing to do it in a school zone.
This culture in America will never change if we don’t get serious about safety and how we drive on our roads.
Downvote me to hell sodomites

I think it's a rule that once you hit 80 years old you can only drive at one speed, 45 mph, no matter where you are.

I take it this isn't a geauxjudge tribute thread...

Oh so the culture of shitty drivers is only a problem for the US, huh? There’s plenty of people everywhere driving on the road that shouldn’t be. They’re called women.

He has several videos similar to this that make you feel like the world isn't a complete shite hole.
Spirit of the law kinda guy, not letter of the law guy.

Came here to say this - he's a favorite of mine when I need a pick me up. Though sometimes it backfires and I just start crying instead

He did the right thing but he's still a bit self absorbed. He could avoid all the crap about himself and just jump to dismissing the case.

There are several videos on youtube of that judge being kind to people who need a little kindness. We need more judges like him.

Why was the judge's son in the back playing on his phone?

This judge is kind of a viral sensation.
I think he has his own tv show.
