Something seems very off with our dog starting last night. Throwing up/ foaming and very lethargic. Seemed fine earlier today, then slept most of the day like she normally does, but now just seems overly lethargic and somewhat warm. Our vet is closed and just wondering where people take their pets in event of after hours/ weekend emergency. Is there some sort of pet ER/walk in clinic somewhere in BR?

Someone local can probably help more I'm sure, but we have used the emergency vet that is in/attached to Petsmart for an off hour emergency. I don't know if there is one of those in BR. Good luck and I hope the pup is okay!

This type of information is usually looked up very early into dog ownership. Like day two or three.

Looks like Sherwood is the place to go.

Thanks for all the responses.

Yes, well the prices tend to be higher after hours. Shocking I know. Let me know the professional who renders services after hours and on weekends for the regular hourly rate.

I’ll wait for your response.

Sherwood South. Expensive. Worth every penny.

Can also recommend Sherwood

Go sooner than later if you can… oftentimes there’s an additional charge after a certain time of night. Also if possible call ahead to let them know you’re en route.

Hope your sweet pup makes a full recovery.

Call your vet. They often have after hours calling services and can direct you to help if they don't maintain an on call vet.

Do you have a sago palm near your house? My dog ate a seed from one and the poor guy was gone soon after. Also racked up a bill of a couple grand at LSU. Would do it again to give him a chance.

And the question marks at the end of the thread title is the type of information that should have clued you, that had nothing helpful to add, to keep the f_ck out.
