Good. I bet he ends up stepping down on his own or being pressured into stepping down. He will now get not only no raise but no salary. This is a good thing.

I was let in on some info today regarding when this SI got appointed. (Dudes an idiot for telling me, but I wasn't going to tell him to shut up).
There was another candidate that some board members wanted (I would say he was certainly a more qualified candidate) to appoint. Fontana, and others wanted this current SI to be appointed.
Somewhere in the process Fontana was able accomplish getting that other candidate removed from consideration. Something about the SI candidate was talking to board members about the position. So he was removed and Fontana's guy was appointed.
I would imagine this is what created the divide in the board. And basically the current SI owes getting the job to Fontana and crew.

I am not knighting for anyone. Perhaps you got to this part of the thread late. But I made it perfectly clear that my point was the inconsistencies in many people’s responses here that is dependent on the views of a speaker at a public meeting.
I agree that she should have been allowed to continue and certainly should have not been escorted out and arrested.

This is 100% accurate.

This guarantees that the feds in DC at the US Attorneys Office will get involved and start looking at everything and everyone.

She did stop, and even walked out, she was arrested and thrown down in the hall afterwards, exiting, after the whole exchange.
She walked out on her own, she asked for the Marshal not to touch her.

Race.
He was getting at, if it was a black person being thrown out for something "the OT" (white people) don't agree with, then they would be saying she deserved it instead of standing up for the teacher.

Oh I know. Considering who told me, can't get much closer than coming out of the horses mouth.

Not after the first request she did not stop. He said he was going to remove her if she continued. She completely ignored him and continued

Read above what you reply to to see what my explicit point is.

I have no idea what point you are trying to make......you are all over the place in this thread with your erratic post

That was as ugly as it gets. That school superintendent is toast. Prolly the whole school board needs to update their resumes.

She was in the middle of a conversation with the SI. You are acting as if she was just rambling on and on with nobody listening or responding. The SI was responding.
King Fontana was trying to get it shut down because he didn't like what he was hearing. Stop trying to twist this into something its not.

It'll be interesting to see if any of the Fontana side members flip to the other side in the coming meetings. I don't see how they can sit back and watch this and remain loyal to Fontana. However, they may be in too deep, and he can drop the hammer on them if they cross him.
Fontana is taking the brunt of the heat for this, but he couldn't have accomplished it alone.

This is a bad look for all involved, but the LAE will try to capitalize on it. I read earlier where the LAE said they weren’t going to let her talk to local media til she appeared on the National media circuit.
This is some shyster bullshite, but teachers aren’t impoverished like they would have you believe.
