I’m sure it was real pleasurable for the cow being separated from his mother, herded into a concentration camp, lost and scared, until a bolt enters his brain rendering him dead and a team of minimum wage butchers descend on his lifeless carcass and sever all his body parts.

As a vegan myself I can see where he is coming from. And he didn’t demand they stop cooking meat, he simply asked if they would do so without opening their windows and allowing the stench to permeate the air that we all share together

Asking the entire neighborhood to change what they cook, instead of him changing his running time, is exactly why people hate vegans.

Can you imagine if someone told this to a bunch of Indians in the neighborhood? They'd crucify that dude.

I've shot a number of animals and eaten them. Is the bolt any worse? It probably has a more ideal placement than many rifle rounds.

Simple solution

Get a treadmill. Change your behavior instead of trying to change the behavior of an entire neighborhood.

Do you have any idea how old cow/bull is before they are slaughtered? Rest assured, they separated from their mother long before they were slaughtered. They were born and bred to be table fare to begin with.

Probably around 2 years old. Which if about 8 years old in human years. Entirely too young to be castrated, pumped full of genetically modified corn then butchered. All so heart attack prone savages can devour its flesh. Hardened hearts and hardened arteries is no way to go thru life.

So, mom is long gone. Like I said.

Well, it’s pretty much impossible to start aging beef before you kill it, so...

Well, we heart attack prone savages have devoured the flesh of all kinds of animals for millennia, just to provide a few of you evolved creatures the chance to take over the world, and run with it. You be sure and let us know when all you soy laden girlie men get your constitutions more robust than that of a 7 year old girl, and we’ll turn it all over to you.

I didn't recognize his username but once I looked at his profile I knew which poster it was.

I honestly have nothing against vegans. It's none of my business. If my neighbor complained about my bbq though I'd go tell him to frick off. I'll toss him a boca burger on there if he wants otherwise

I like the smell, personally. It doesn't make me hungry but I have too many years of positive associations (cookouts, family dinners, holidays) to dislike it.
