You sound just like my situation. Wife on me for years. What gets me is wife still wants to stay on the pill to control her cycle. But, the deal is after 2-3 months she is getting off that.

My buddy got one done yesterday and I tried to tell him he's an idiot. Tried to explain that one day he will realize how miserable he is in marriage and the next chick he is with might want kids...
