Yes I know it was months ago. But I watched Top Gun Maverick earlier and am watching the OG now. Just thought it was worth mentioning again. RIP ICEMAN.

I was about to have a bizarre personal Mandela effect moment.

For some reason, losing Val Kilmer was a kick in the gut. Of course I saw Top Gun in the theatre in 86 and I just always associate him with myself being younger also. Tough to admit that much time has passed by.

If you haven't seen his autobiographical documentary on Prime (I think it's simply called 'Val'), it's really good.

Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t his last concert performance in Bossier City? I think it was a Wednesday night and my wife and I couldn’t get a babysitter in time.
