That's so awful. I'm really sorry, Jake. Went through something similar with family and a very close friend. I'll just say I would rather the "going fast" diagnosis as opposed to the long drawn out one. But none of them are easy. I'm praying for you and your family.

I follow some people on FB just to read shite like this because occasionally someone calls them out on their drama and it turns into a great cringe thread

True story: I also have a cousin that’s really into posting EVERYTHING on social media... she also posts everything about her child, and every single issue in our town... anyways, most of my family was around my grandmother’s bed when she passed... and my cousin went to pull out her phone and I stopped her.. i told her that now isn’t the time to run to Facebook and post something like this, we still have phone calls to make before EVERYONE finds out... this bitch got so mad at me because ‘there are so many of my friends that are waiting for updates’

So i went and looked at her page later, and sure enough, it was like she was live broadcasting the entire situation.. updates every 15 minutes with doom and gloom building up slowly over time... I was truly disgusted that she would use our grandmothers death as a means to get attention
