What do anti vaxxers hope to achieve with these anti vax threads? You hope to convince someone on the fence about the vaccine who may actually need it to not get it and potentially die from covid? Would that make this thread a success in your mind?

don’t be purposely obtuse. there are a lot of people who are fully vaccinated in the typical sense, but have chosen not to get the COVID vaccine.
Ok then. Would you prefer if I use a positive descriptor like "pro-COVID"?

Trying to convince some people to un-get it

This is language and social interaction, not science. Very lame attempt at labeling me anti-science.

It totally went over your head that it was in response to your preferred Kardashian-esque more provocative and dramatic use of the term anti-vaxxer. If you're going to give it, be ready to take it Khloe.

So, performing the same exact task with virtually the same vessel and you expect wildly different results?

And this would be subject only to humans.

i don’t care what you call it. but calling those who chose not to get the COVID19 vaccine “anti vaxxers”
is a gross and intentional misrepresentation. which i’m sure you are fine with.

Doubtful, they will simply remember the antigen(s) they’re coded to produce antibodies against.

That’s how our immune system works.

The only problem would be if the virus antigen shifts enough where either the antibody isn’t effective or it doesn’t stimulate the anamnestic response.

i find that those who chose not to get the COVID vaccine generally don’t give a flying frick what the vaccinated do. I don’t know of a single unvaccinated person who asks the vaccinated to mask or not attend based on their vax status. It’s the vaccinated who obsess over the unvaccinated and shaming the unvaccinated. But you know that.

So if everyone had the vaccine, we'd all be asymptomatic carriers? Sounds like an amazing idea, actually.

Exactly. Kind of like having Herps without getting the sores. No one would know they had it and we could all go along with our daily lives without covid threads or mask mandates.

The antivaxxers want to draw people into the threads to call them dolts. That is their favorite past time. It's weird how the word has become the go to insult. They act like they just pulled an unexpected Cleveland steamer on people by calling them a dolt. Very dolty to call people a dolt on the interwebs.

Herpes has been activated in patients who received the experimental gene therapy

If virtually the same is equivalent to exactly the same, then you tell me science guy?

Isn't the field of research littered with studies where we examine the difference in results between virtually the same and exactly the same? I'll alert the scientists to immediately halt this approach since fightin tigers of TD insinuates they may be wasting their time.

The broad spectrum of natural disease manifestations in different populations and age groups makes it very difficult, if not impossible, to determine how severe COVID-19 infection would have been in the absence of vaccination in the individual case.

I'm not sure it is as simple as you make it sound.

The 30,000 ft view of the comparisons cases/hosp/death with such a large n is enough to ballpark that you don't have a big problem with an extremely rare issue.

30k view is much more simple to see a trend than look at 100,000s of cases in granular detail. What I am suggesting won't identify outliers or produce potable data but ADE would be a large visible trend otherwise it very likely wouldn't be ADE.

They just want the vaccines to be a failure. They actively are rooting for the Chinese in this instance. It is odd to watch.

To stop Sleepy Joe the Abuser from forcing Americans to take a dangerous, untested, experimental concoction maybe? Why don't we stick with things that work and have been tested extensively like Ivermectin, Zinc, and losing some weight instead of an ineffective shot that's making people spread the WuFlu without realizing it?

Perhaps it "went over my head" because it was complete nonsense?
