I think it was just yesterday someone said
And I replied
I feel like we're still not close to being done hearing how bad this was.

Can it get any worse?
And I replied

Just wait until the next leak happens. Seems to get worse every time something comes out.

Antifa needs to bring the summer of love treatment to Uvalde.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but this shite ain’t adding up. If parents were willing to go in the school and risks their lives for the sake of their children, no way armed officers could or would just standby without doing anything. There’s no way.

I find it not only plausible but most likely that a bunch of ticket writers cowered when their community needed them.

This is getting less about incompetence and cowardice and more about deliberate plan.

Right. At this point, nothing seems out of the realm of possibility.

This is still where I stand, but I refuse to understand how one of said cops is still too scared when he knowd his wife is almost certainly dead unless the shooter is neutralized immediately.

This was ALLOWED to happen.

The gun they carry is there to save their lives not yours.

I get what you're saying but I seem to recall they were ordered to not go in..

The documentary for this is going to be mind blowing.

By a leader who was probably promoted because of nepotism or cronyism and maybe because he generated the most revenue for the department. It's a systemic issue that plagues a lot of police forces. And I'm not saying they're all bad but some have shite cultures that are dictated by the top. It's no different than a lot of companies.

So you know what’s gonna happen next time? Parents are gonna rush the school and not give a frick what the cops say or do to try and stop them. Which actually will make it a worse situation but if the cops won’t do it, someone has to.

The more info that comes out, the more the folks who say this was let to happen on purpose sound saner. I'm not convinced anymore that they're wrong.
I’m not either. Everything just gets weirder and more infuriating with every new story. I can’t make sense of these local cops.

I tried to give all involved the benefit of the doubt from the beginning.
That has definitely changed.

I get wanting to save wife, but this school district police officer led some of the active shooter trainings in district. He failed district in those trainings.
It’s human nature to want to protect wife, but would he as a district police officer have gone in just for the kids or for someone else’s wife? He made no attempts before call from wife.
He was a part of failed training, failed door security, and so on leading up to this. I feel bad for him losing his wife, but again he wasn’t attempting to bust through as a district police officer for kids or wife until phone call from his wife stating she was dying finally made him attempt to do so as a husband.
