How often does this happen to you? Have never had a package show as delivered and it not been.

I live in the middle of Houston, so there is the highest volume of mail going through the city. Even so, this has happened to me several times over the years. In some cases, it arrived weeks later...probably delivered to the wrong address and took time to make it's way back around. Other times it found it's way back to the sender. In all those cases, it was shown as delivered.

If I need something valuable delivered, it's going through FedEx or UPS.

No complaints in my area. I wish mail delivery was once a week though.

I have had absolutely zero issues with my carrier. My mail and packages are always timely.

Probably an indictment of the shitty area you live in with a shitty workforce more than anything

Fed Ex sent text that no one home and failed delivery attempt.

And the next day, same BS and the third day, same BS

Finally got a Fed Ex guy on the phone.
Told him we were home those 3 days and checked cameras and nobody came to our door.

He finally admitted that there had been NO delivery attempts and that the package was at a terminal in another state and had not made it to La. yet.

Kept pressing and said so Fed Ex flat out lies on the failed delivery attempts and he said “well, that is just what we say”.

Worthless PRICKS !!!!

I have the "Informed Delivery" service and a camera that faces my mailbox so I have a good idea of what's coming and if it shows up.

Just last month I had a certified letter arrive and the lazy USPS employee never left her truck. She just put the "Nobody home" tag in the mailbox and drove off.

I contacted the USPS with a picture of the tag and a video clip with the timestamp of her sitting in her truck filling it out, and never coming to knock on the door. Would you believe she had an attitude when she came the next day? I sent that video clip to the USPS and I haven't seen her as my delivery person since then.

I have been home several times waiting on a package (requires my signature) only to receive a message that the item was undeliverable because no one was home. I get in my car and search the area/subdivision for the postal worker’s vehicle to retrieve my package. When I tell them I was at home and he/she did not knock on my door, they always mumble some stupid shite.

Hahaha…they do this exact same thing with certified mail. If you miss the carrier in my neighborhood, you have to go to the post office. They will not make a second attempt even if you schedule it. It’s like they get together and make up their own rules.

I will say. The older lady that used to have our route was the opposite. She went out of her way to put packages out of the weather.

USPS will say they "tried to deliver but wasnt able to" when they run our of time on their route. You'll eventually get it. Be patient. They are delivering a lot more packages these days with Amazon and Ebay , and every other online retailer. Not to mention getting mail to you as well.

Some people are ungrateful of the service they provide.

The Supreme Court just gave them absolute immunity for sucking at their jobs. Can’t sue them for anything, even refusing to deliver the mail doesn’t subject them to a lawsuit.

Correct. 90% of fraud and theft is internal. Just like luggage theft at airports. Common denominator?

USPS is better than any other carrier… especially if getting weed delivered… they need a warrant to open a package…

game the workers are scamming the managers/ regional managers. They're expected to deliver within x days so instead of actually running their full routes and making all deliveries, they just scan a bunch as delivery attempted while sitting at the station doing jack shite.
