Iirc, you can count on 1 hand the amount of players that didnt go see Obama. 3 I think had legit gripes with his views on certain things, like planned parenthood

Now it's become a national pastime

Not sure how I'm doing that when Rapinoe has specifically said she opposes some of the policies he's advanced that she sees as attacks on the gay community.

I'd love to know which policies specifically.

Reread what he said. He said no one here was calling for them to skip the invite. LSU fans wouldn't care enough to call for bama to do something like that.

He didn't present a what if they did like your post implies. If bama did, sure it would be newsworthy. That's not what was said though.

Why does it have to be mutually exclusive that if you support one you can’t support the other?

And plenty of people support Tim Tebow right? He’s a pretty open Christian athlete.

I seriously doubt you'd have any sort of serous voice calling for LSU to skip the White House trip of they had won the title during those 8 years, but I guess I could be wrong.

Don't remember anyone making a huge deal in '09 for baseball.

Lots of hypocrisy in this thread for sure.

Sorry I meant to post that to Fes.

No, but they would gladly visit perverted Clinton who raped a 16 year old vs someone who said some locker room talk. The Liberal thought process is astounding! I guess they don’t realize that a few people voted for Trump.

I've made fun of posts like that for weeks now. That's what you're complaining about by calling me out.

If you have a problem with me calling those types of posts stupid and melty, then you must agree with those posts right? Why would you care if it wasn't your opinion being trashed?

And I've taken a position plenty. There's been 400 threads on this. Stop acting like this is the only one.

What I find humorous is many of the same people who support. Athletes virtue signaling disliked Tebow and his antics. His were nowhere near as volatile as the others.

Very good.

Now, can we please stop making threads about them?

Team Rapinoe played some good ball, but it's over now.

You're missing it again.

He said this board calling for bama to skip. This board is mostly LSU fans so they wouldn't care enough to call for that.

I have no idea if LSU fans would've called for LSU players to skip, that's not the hypothetical. I do wish they had/would have the chance though. :(

It’s happened for decades. And I have no problem with any INDIVIDUAL making that call even though I find it to be counterproductive. But when an entire TEAM does it, it has the unmistakable whiff of coercion and cultural bullying. Because you can’t tell me every member of that team, coaches etc feels the same way. But they know that the Progressive Twitterverse will DESTROY them if they dissent from the Mob. And go to the White House.

When I disagree with someone, I engage them. But Progressive Democrats believe in shaming , bullying and melting. I can’t wait to see their utter confusion when Trump waxes them in November 2020. How did this happen, they will ask . And I will say with a daily Cultural Provocation against Normals. Just add this vapid one to the pile...

It's hard to find exactly what she is bitching at, even with a liberal search engine helping me think (ha)

But for real, I can't find these attacks on gays she is talking about.

Why single out just the born again Christians?

There is actually a very openly Christian female soccer player that was wrongly left off the USWNT roster. She's a solid player and should have made the team based on her ability. My guess is her anti-gay views were a threat to the team's chemistry.

Because they're covered up, just like the gunning down of blacks in the street everyday.
