This didn't seem like a big topic of discussion with Obama in office, but maybe my head is in the sand.

I agree.

I was making a joke, ya dingus. You were the 3rd level of gt23's "adding nothing to the discussion" complaining.

Alex Morgan can cement her OT10 status by coming out and saying she would go. You know Trump would gladly just have her over for dinner, maybe double date with her hubby and Melania.

The only thing I can find about her politics is that she “thought Hillary was going to win,” which most of us did.
She studied "Political Economy" at Cal Berkeley. I'm gonna guess she is siding with Rapinoe on this one.

I honestly can't recall ever hearing even one person say Alabama's football team shouldn't go to the White House because Obama was in office, and there were several opportunities between 2008-2016

LSU fans hate both of them so why would they care?

it wasn't as common, but it definitely happened and many here criticizing now were in full support back then

I think it was a Patriots or Red Sox player maybe that didn't want to visit Obama

It's been going on my entire life. I think its a cool honor. I'd love to go walk around the White House as a guest. Place seems almost mythical because it's only been read about in books by me.

But if it ends, the fight will just move on to something else. The left took this loss harder than I've ever seen and it looks like the damage will continue for the time being

Are you pretending something that would have been national news wouldn't have made its way here?

You'll find the same people knighting in every thread for those under the big umbrella.

Can you imagine if the Patriots would have refused to see Obama under protest?

You really want to dig in and tie yourself to guys like this guy?

Im sorry where did I tie myself to anyone? Or is that just your way of avoiding actually having to take a position again?

Because of the athletic ability they were blessed with, these women have a platform most Americans will never get. More power to them for showing young boys and girls that may be struggling with their own sexuality that it's okay to be yourself and love who you want to.

Born again Christians are more ridiculed than gays in 2019. I wonder if you, and people like you, would be championing the rights of born again Christian WC soccer champs using their victory as a platform to spread their beliefs?

Do you support their right to be themselves, and love who they want to be?

I know Brady missed for "reasons," but it didn't get this kind of attention, and he himself certainly didn't go out of his way to make it a spectacle.

Surely you can at least agree that it has gotten ridiculous since a R took the office, yes?

I would go in a heart beat.

I don’t care who is in the White House whether you like them or not, if you get invited by the White House to meet the president, you just go.

It’s an honor and you do it because it’s polite and that’s what you are supposed to do

Not sure how I'm doing that when Rapinoe has specifically said she opposes some of the policies he's advanced that she sees as attacks on the gay community.
