I don't have experience with it directly, but from what I hear it's already fricked. Even for the officers there have to be females in exact multiples for whatever a stateroom can hold.

Females are only on the SSBNs and SSGNs as of right now. It's much easier to house females on those boats. I don't think you'll ever see them on Los Angeles class subs. Maybe Virginias. But I just can't see it with LAs.

Turn 9-man into female berthing with a privacy curtain blocking the path to the FCLL head (for boats where 9man is in FCML). Males who want to go from FCLL to FCML need to use the torpedo room ladder.
Of course, when that makes some MM2 A-ganger hot rack so STSA Jane Smith can get her own bunk in 9-man there's going to be problems. The males in 21-man climing their way up to the middle level head to take a shower are also going to be pretty ticked.

Screw that, you don't need a private passage to the head. you shouldn't even have your own exclusive head. Just put a lock on the FCLL head for women to use that locks anyone out while they are showering.
If they were only allowed to sleep in 9-Man, I would be wicked pissed especially if I was a hotracking E-5 watching some GD Nub sleep in privacy. I'd treat them like shite just out of principle
ETA: Or go "Starship Troopers" and simply have an open lavatory for both sexes to use. Purest form of equal rights there

Thanks for posting, I've watched a few and it is very interesting. It is crazy how immature some of these sailors are, but then I have to remember the age and backgrounds of some of them.

I was on NAS Pensacola for a couple of months with the Marines. Watching the Navy kids PT was GOLD. They would do jumping jacks and walk a mile. I was jealous.

Yeah they didn't pull any punches showed real life in that series, it get even more screwed up in the later episodes.

fricking right. When I got to my 2nd boat as an E-5 fleet returnee I kicked some new E-5 nuke out of a rack and made his arse hot rack. The berthing PO was like "oh he's been here longer so you have to hot rack" and I was like "the frick I am, fgt".
On subs you flip for it...
1. Are you qualified
2. Rank
3. Time in/time at sea
Whether or not you have a pussy shouldn't be a prerequisite.
