Is that Ascension parish in red? I may be a contributor to that percentage.

Ascension parish 20.01% of residents are excessive drinkers
Here's a link to the actual interactive map:

https://intoxistates.com/

Louisiana, average 20.02%

Top 10 highest ------------Top 10 lowest
Orleans (22.06%)---------Tensas (12.66%)
Lafayette (20.95%)-------East Carroll (13.39%)
Vernon (20.79%)----------Bienville (14.47%)
St. Charles (20.11%------Morehouse (14.59%)
Ascension (20.01%)------St. Helena (14.86%)
Calcasieu (19.7%)--------Claiborne (14.91%)
Terrebonne (19.52%)-----Madison (14.94%)
Cameron (19.43%)--------Webster (14.98%)
Vermilion (19.43%)--------Washington (15.15%)
Beauregard (19.37%)-----Concordia (15.31%)

Here's the CDC definition of excessive drinking that was used to create this map.

It's like when they would do the party school interviews. LSU would allow them on campus from 730-9 on Friday morning.

Didn't think Vernon Parish would be so damn drunk. I wonder if it's because of Fort Polk..

At least the vast majority of it is just beer drunk.

That’s why God gave them so much snow. Natural padding, God protects fools, etc.
