If buying coffee at the grocery store is causing grief you need to make better life choices. Hell, come by my office every morning and grab a cup of free Community coffee. My gift to you.

Sorry, you can't afford coffee. I guess shuffling papers at the hospital ain't what it used to be. Maybe once you grow up, it will be easier for you.

I only buy beef if I find it on clearance.
You better act fast today is the last day of 3.89 a pound ground beef at Rouses.
They also had some pork roasts on sale for 1.49 a pound.

Not even 1/2 of the record price increase pace. It was up 75% in 2021.

Can't have a single damn rational discussion without politics anymore.

Well I'm in Southwest Arkansas, Walmart is the closest grocery store to me within an hour any direction

Walmart is one place that rarely rollback any pricing on beef as a sale. The only luck you get is if they mark down the beef 30% the day of or the day before the sell by date. And good luck for an onsite butcher, most of their meat is prepackaged and shipped straight to the store from a centralized meat processor. I wish Walmart would go back to competitive price matching. Walmart would send employees out to other stores to ensure they had the lowest prices on certain items and check sales papers.
Only advantage that Walmart has in my area is that it will stock the fancy cuts of beef like a tomahawk steak. But prepare thy wallet.
Rouses or Cannatas probably would only sell that if you requested it or got it cut from larger beef purchase.

The midterms have been decided for months now.
A small group of voters think otherwise.
This will garner some really pissed off people here, mostly because they know it’s true, but midterms are blue and it won’t be close.
pretty much this...

Catfish prices are about to soar this summer. Industry will likely run completely out of fish by May
Bad hatching season in 2024 combined with too many older farmers retiring that have nobody willing to take it over, and many larger operations having to downsize due to lack of qualified managers or no labor. It’s tough work and none of the younger generation wants to do it

Yeah I just get it when it's day before and they throw the yellow sticker on it. I'll buy 40-50lbs if they have it and then go home and vacuum seal it all.

I used to eat chocolate coated roasted coffee beans in college to help me stay up while studying.

Now I understand your politics. You sound like you spout liberal Marxist propaganda. I’m not a fan of Republicans or Democrats, but I’m a capitalist and in favor of free markets. They aren’t perfect systems but free markets and capitalism has done more to lift people out of poverty than any other system in history. Socialism(your system) has a track record too. It killed hundreds of millions just in the 20th century alone. I’ll stand behind America’s system vs. any of your socialist governments. Even the Scandinavian countries built their initial wealth on free markets. You can get your propaganda out of here. You are Democrat schill. Much of what you say sounds like Marxist class warfare type propaganda, lol. Listen to yourself. None of this bullshite has anything to do with these young men on a parade float. You liberal Democrats make “everything” about politics, lol.
Free market PRINCIPALS are responsible for raising the standards of living and quality of life of more people than anything one can conjur up in their head, not free markets. Free markets, absent any regulation, will always result in a system where survival is only possible for those willing to do anything needed to survive. Society can't function in a scenario where one can want or need something another has and there is no regulation preventing them from simply knocking them in the head and taking it.
If you stand behine America's system you stand behind a regulated market, not a free market, a market based on the principals of a free market with guardrails in place to prevent unsavory shite from taking place. This includes elements of socialism whether you are a socialist or not my friend.....
