I never said the data was invalid. I said I don't run in circles where a lot of childless people in their 30s and up are posting European vacation pics. Seems like you do.

You’re talking as if I have children that are destined to be here.
They don’t exist yet. I’m not denying anyone of anything until they’re here. That’s the point.

That’s exactly my point
You are so wrapped up in “giving them the life that they deserve” that you are preventing them from even being alive.
To repost here because it is more appropriate with this post:
Until you see your 3 year old be more excited about a drive to Grandmas and Grandpas than vacation or your 2 your old have more fun with the box the toy came in than the Christmas present itself you can’t understand that the kids have no idea what that phenomenon of “the life they deserve” is

I’m 30 and I would say a serious percentage of my friends, maybe even the majority, seem like they are not interested in having kids. My cousins too.

Kids are just waiting to love something. It doesn't have to be an Xbox. It can be dad wearing a cardboard box as a hat. They are only as expensive as you make them.

I wish I could convince my wife/parents/in laws of that when they buy my son his 8th garbage truck this year.

Like your anecdotal evidence that everyone is taking Disney trips?

That's your job. It's their job to stimey your good parenting the entire time. The balance is what makes good adults.

You literally posted data of Disneyland and Disneyworld having 40,000,000 more visitors compared to the mid 90s
I’m confused what you are arguing

I throw away a toy a day when nobody is looking

Also 70million more Americans.

We started doing an exchange program during Christmas a couple years ago. Since Santa doesn't visit every house, we pick one or two toys each to give to a family that Santa doesn't visit.

What’s wrong with someone wanting to work for a living and not stay home and wait on a man hand and foot?
Nobody said anything about waiting on a man hand and foot. And if you want to get out why not work AT a daycare??
Also, what if the man wants to stay at home while wife works? That doesn't seem to work per the stats, but it's an option nonetheless

Uh, he literally IS!
You’re assuming that every child born makes it to child producing age and has 2 children.
Which is not accurate. Replication rate is around 2.3

Doesn’t really make sense to send kids to daycare if the wife is making less than ~60k which daycare workers are way under, she’d be working just to pay for daycare

It’s the cost of living. Women need to work to help their husbands and they choose to get college educated which only makes them want to chase the dollar and put off child bearing. Many college degrees don’t equal big earnings either

And what happens if you can’t afford 25K/year childcare on one salary? Maybe our dumb frick politicians should do something about this problem.

Why would a couple be paying childcare if only one has a low paying job?
