if you can be disqualified for service based on any number of physical or psychological conditions clearly gender identity issues fall under that reasonable vetting process. The fact that the US taxpayer has been on the hook for interventional medical treatment for years for this is a great example of how far afield we have gotten.

It is reasonable to accommodate only to the extent that proactive persecution is not allowed. After that you’re on your own

Yes. The far left has spent the last few years normalizing the made-up term “gender affirming care”, so they basically see it just like any other healthcare benefit you’d get.

The US Army exists for one reason, to engage with and destroy the enemies of the United States of America. Period. It’s not there to help mentally deranged and unstable freaks surgically mutilate themselves to be a sick facsimile of whatever they want to be. And it should never lower its standards to accommodate anyone. Period.
