Hope they stay reinstated.
"Government waste" catches everyone's attention.
However, I really fail to see how cutting thousands of decent paying government jobs really helps anyone other than the wealthiest people that get the tax cuts.
How does it really help average working class Americans to erase middle class jobs of people that buy things and spend money and pay taxes in their local communities (many in areas already struggling with job losses)?
If you want to reduce government waste, start with the sweetheart deals to private companies or help American workers by not giving government contracts to companies that are offshoring labor.

Do you know the difference between putting a hiring sign up and actually hiring?
Probably not.
Question, when was the last time you applied to a job? You think it's just walk in and shake the manager's hand and you'll get the job right?

Well that's false...
Hell they are still fighting court battles over the rif.
But I'm mostly talking about the 154000 people on the deferred resignation program setup by DOGE, and I don't think that includes DOD employees
DRP numbers
DOD alone was cutting 61k by the end of the FY. Estimated layoffs were around 200k to be phased in.
workforce reduction tracker
Whether you disagree or agree with why... They will be a drag on employment numbers starting Oct 1

pretty sure she was fired because the numbers ARE NEVER EVER EVER remotely accurate.
why even release them at all if you're going to come up with competely new and unrelated numbers a few weeks later?
or better yet..wait until they're correct to release them

Trump fires commissioner of labor statistics after weaker-than-expected jobs figures slam markets
Cant be just a coincidence that jobs numbers were better for Kamala than EXPECTED right before the election, but Trumps numbers are weaker than EXPECTED and keep getting revised downward
I mean a Biden appointee wouldnt do that intentionally would she? She would be risking her job, after all
Oops!!
Looks like she did risk her job

Yeah that's it couldn't just be you repeating whatever daddy Trump says who's coping extremely hard after his piss poor economic decisions have created a volatile and uncertain future for the economy.
I bet you think Jerome Powell is some evil Biden appointee too

Just imagine how bad the job market would look if Congress was not allowed to run trillions in debt.
We are on borrowed time.
We are on borrowed time.

Wow you don’t know shite about how this works
Posted on 8/1/25 at 3:54 pm to RobbBobb
Ah so you just happened to repeat the baseless bullshite that Trump said and this happened to come just after the poor jobs report. And this is in no way a distraction from the fact that Maxwell just got moved to a minimum security prison after meeting with the DOJ. Head firmly planted into the sand with you
