Guess I'll be the odd man and not recommend Dr. Cockrell. Was not impressed with him at all.

There are a bunch of them. I don't like anything that happens at a urologist appt, never. Have a MRI scheduled and Ochsner is charging me 4 times what a local imaging place would charge, so I cancelled and scheduled with a local place in BR. Ochsner tried to shame me by telling me that the DR can't do any follow up procedure if I don't use them directly. Any other day I would say they are nice but not today.

He did my vasectomy. In my initial appointment, he had to look at my junk while sitting on a stool and I was standing. It was the most awkward moment of my life.

FYI: when a man has your dick in his face and he's examining it, you develop quite the shrinkage problem. I had hope for a hot nurse for the procedure but those hopes were dashed with a gigantic gay male nurse walked in damn near sideways through the doorframe

Dr. Steven Vick was really good at BR Urology. I’m not sure if he still practices or not.

Cockrell is my current urologist. Like him. Get him to tell you story about his Achilles’ injury. Crazy story.

David Hastings did my vasectomy 20+ years ago.

Richard Dickey MD LSU Urology. Google it.

Dick Dickey. This reality is better than any fiction posted.

For legit rec, would need more discovery to answer. May not be the same MD for any and all things “Urology.”
