There used to be a great blog called Abandoned Baton Rouge. The chick running it even posted here a few times. But IIRC she moved to NYC

I always thought someone should do a similar blog for NO

taxes last assessed at 34k annually , you probably cannot build the structure for double the price psf price, carry cost and likely remediation would eat your equity really quick.....

In these situations, do they just let the house sit and fall apart?

It would seem after long enough, just sell it for much cheaper and get it sold to someone that will use it.

Eventually it will get to the point, it’s worth nothing and all that will be sold is the land

You should check out Steve Ronin and Explomo on YouTube. Ronin goes all over the world. Explomo usually does stuff in Europe.
