I bought a brother a pint of TW Samuels in a gas station in St Martinville at 5:00 AM once.
He had the shakes - BAD - and I got tired of waiting for him to count out all his nickels and pennies.

Bought the homeless guy outside the corner store a water and gave him three bucks when I went buy my mega millions ticket. Didn't win. Guess that trick doesnt work

I did my good deed just last night. Had to go to Wal Mart, coming out there's the usual hand out crowd at the stop light. I stop and the guy comes to the window looking for cash, I keep a few McDonalds applications in the car for just such an occasion, and that's what the guy got. I mean McDonals is right next door to Wal Mart and has help wanted up on their marguee at the moment. Starting at $11 an hour too.

I did something like this recently and it wasn’t uplifting:
Lady in a wheelchair with a mentally challenged guy with her. She had brought stuff to the checkout and had $9. She had the cashier backing things out until her total was under $9. Lady paid and the mentally challenged guy pushed her out the door.
The stuff she had not been able to buy was off to the side and I told the cashier to put those things on my purchase and bag them up. I caught up with them in the parking lot and handed the lady the bag with the stuff she couldn’t afford.
She takes the bag, smiles and says “Can you go buy me some cigarettes.”

Same here. I'm at Whole Foods the other day and this lady at the salad bar says she's down on her luck and needs some help. Wanted a hot meal. Normally I don't fall for this but she smelled like she needed some help. I don't carry cash usually and went to my truck to grab almost $5.00 in quarters. When I walk back into to the store security had already picked her up and had her outside saying that she can't go back in.
I hand her all the quarters. She looks at her hand and says she doesn't keep change.
