Judges are a major issue across the country. Too many idiots vote in judges for the sole purpose of keeping their relatives and political allies out of prison.

Would it not be the local paper/press's RESPONSIBILITY to at least OCCASIONALY PUBLISH all of the local judges rulings...particularly involving MULTIPLE offenders ?

There’s some truth to this but the DA has way more power. Trust me, this on Williams. Judges can’t sentence anyone If the DA office just drops charges for ‘lack of evidence’ which is complete bs. I know of a few cases where people were caught with guns and drugs on them. On their body, open and shut case and his office declined to prosecute.

The suspect has been arrested. If the NOPD was going to make the effort to solve one carjacking, I figured it would be this one.

Arrest for carjackings aren't exactly abnormal. NOPD nab a good number of them.
