My good friend Terrance hooked me up with a breeder in one of the local neighborhoods.
I was able to get a nice rockweiler for a good price. The people at pet smart couldn’t help me find a nice choke collar though. Anyone know where I can get one?

Almost no adoption agency will give you a dog if you say that.
Though I prefer not having to jump through all the adoption hurdles and prefer just to buy a puppy from a breeder

Standard Poodle, German Shepherd, Weimaraner, or German Shorthair Poodle. All are great dogs. Id only recommend the GSD if you own your place or plan on using a loophole to make him/her and "ESA".
I have a standard and a german now. If you are going to be keeping them inside during the day Id go with the poodle. The no shedding thing is a dream. I just keep mine clipped like the below - too much work when their hair is long.

Used puppies have much better value in the current market. New puppies lose 10% of their value the minute you walk them off the lot.
