People that don't pull forward get exactly what they deserve.

Haha can't believe I overlooked that post.

What sucks even more is when you're missing 18/36 of the order.

Your professor sounds like a dumb arse. Those are minimum wage workers at a fast food joint, do you really think they care that much about their job? Does he or she really think they are striking a blow against the system? What petty bullshite to take a stand over.

exactly. I dont like waiting for fast food as much as the next guy, but anyone in this thread that thinks they are tough by telling the fastfood person that they wont pull forward are the ones that need to be laughed at.

I’ve been fricked too many times pulling forward. They forget a portion of my order, don’t give me enough ketchup, no napkins, no straw for my beverage, and it seems like they take longer once I pull forward.

I’m not rude about it I just tell them I’d rather just wait. Most are extremely polite and say they understand. They sometimes even offer me a free ice cream. The ones that are rude I ask for a refund. I then proceed to call their corporate office and tell them what happened and also make up more shite so I can get them in more trouble.

You cant control their laziness so why get bent up over it. You know they wont give you precision like a 5star restaurant so why expect it?

Its not that I dont understand you, I have been pissed of before by fast food service, but telling them that you wont follow their instructions since they have a lot going on is just a dick move. Of course being a dick if they mess up your order is slightly fair, but give them some respect.

“Pulling up” shouldn’t be an option and should be disallowed by corporate. They have systems in place to track queue times for a reason; if certain locations are not meeting their goals, they shouldn’t be allowed to get away with subpar service by cheating the system using the pull up method

Im not arguing that standards shouldnt be improved at fast food places, but telling the person at the window no to her request is just petty imo. All im saying. Just pull forward and wait for your shitty fast food.

Depends on the situation.

If they let a fricking minivan full of kids sit at the window for five minutes in front of me and the other nine cars in line, no fricking way am I pulling forward if they ask me to.

I’ve actually had an “idiot” at Popeyes tell me to pull up with no one behind me. I asked if she just wanted me to stay by the window until someone pulled up behind me. She of course replied no just pull up. No one ever came through the drive thru and she ended up walking outside to bring my order to me. Can’t fix stupid but you can breed it.

If no cars are behind me, I just back up till I’m off the sensor then pull back up to the window.

That stops their timer and I can check my orders before pulling off.

If there’s a line behind me, I pull up. Sitting there won’t speed up the cooking time of my nuggets and lets a lot of other people get their food while my fresh nuggets are cooking.

You can also tell them to upsize your fries, drink or nuggets for free for your trouble. Many times they do it with no problem.

It's those people that place orders at the drive-thru for an entire family (or more) that hold up the line for everyone else behind 'em that I especially like. Go inside and that way you can verify they got everything right. Being a little bitch about it is just trashy.

I pulled forward at Popeyes the other day. After 15 minutes I went in. There were 5 people in line. The woman at the register told me it was because they were so busy. Found the guy who took my money at the window and he admitted they forgot to fill my order. He quickly did so and then refunded my money. Took the good with the bad. Pull up and be respectful when it doesn’t go correctly.
