Depends on if they have mob spin.
Nobody was killed in Vegas for what 40 years but that was not entirely true as they were just killed outside the city limits and buried in the desert.

First link in the ATC feed site is the records from the approach.

Other interesting note:
This is the second uncontrolled left engine failure for SouthWest in just a few months. NTSB hasn't even finished the investigation for the first one.

I'm not sure if they killed the wrong engine. Will have to check. IIRC they killed an engine due to vibration issues, and weren't supposed to kill it per the manual but keep it lit and at the ready. on final they lost power in the other engine and couldn't windmill the first engine back up in time. Will review and get back with ya

Nah. I'll take leaning against the window/cabin over a middle or aisle seat every day. If I happen to get sucked out of the plane in a freak accident, my double indemnity will kick in for the family.

CNBC said her head was not out the window. She was getting sucked out, but others help pulled her in.

I'd say probably severe shock, internal problems, and the fact she supposedly got sucked out a fkn tiny window (yes, I know, she didn't fly away).

This exact same thing happened to me back in 1995. Got sucked out the window, fell 32,000 feet and lived to tell about it. Missed the big pay day though.
