Pretty overrated.

If you want to see a truly amazing bright “star” you need to see maximum elongation Venus at 4 am

fricking shite my pants the first time I saw that years ago. It looked like an airplane headlight pointing at you and cast shadows.

I see the moon in the SSW sky. I can't see the two planets. The other night I saw one just positioned above the other but can't believe they'll be terribly bright when aligned.

40 min ago they were elongated looking w quite a glare with the naked eye

I went back 5 min ago and it was down and barely visible thru the trees

Jupiter and Saturn are way off compared to this. It’s the only thing lit up in the sky though
