From the link above

I doubt this was out of character. She's 12 and took her mother's car. She has a debit card according to another article and they were sure to tell us she has a "real" rolex. What 12 year old needs a debit card and a rolex? The time to be a parent is before something like this happens, it's too late now.

Twelve years old? Can drive, has debit card AND a real rolex?

Stupid? Naive? Spoiled? Rotten? Victim of Affluenza?

I'd worry about her being a friend of a daughter (if I had one).

The rich kids in River Oaks used to have charge accounts at the local drug store deli to pay for their breakfasts and snacks. Those were far more innocent times.

She really out-works the local news reporters and kicks their arse when it comes to reporting these types of stories. Local channels were too busy livestreaming Sheila Jackson-Lee’s funeral attendees.

Not sure if true but she said her followers were the ones that recognized the guy, found his cellphone number and started harassing him which scared him into bringing her back to Houston.

Dont bash me, but......

That girl doesn't look twelve years old. Someone in the thread says she left her phone, took a parent's car, has a Rolex, and a her own debit card. Someone else says the guy was arrested alone after dropping her back off in Houston.

What are the chances the guy had no clue she was a twelve year old girl until the Amber Alert went out and people blew up his phone?

Just spitballing and wondering "out loud".

It's possible but still his responsibility to verify age. I feel like you'd have a good idea whether or not someone is of age after a 4 hour car ride together

When I was new to my neighborhood, there was a full grown girl if you know what I mean that was always at the pool. I thought she was autistic because of how she acted and interacted with her parents and other children. After getting to know her parents, I find out she's not autistic. She was 11 years old in a 19 year old girl's body. What a nightmare that must be for her parents.

Guarantee you his mother was trying to spell Donnell and misspelled it. and the person taking the information for his birth certificate was holding back a laugh.

I saw a newborn with the name Rocksand at the hospital. Her mother wanted Roxanne but couldn't spell it.

Very off topic, he's way too old for her, but I knew a guy with the last name Sandrock.
If she married him, she would have the name Rocksand Sandrock.

He didn’t say scared of the world. He said scared of their parents. Especially their father.

And a society that constantly tells kids that they are adults that can make their own decisions even if their parents disagree and tells women that being a hoe is cool.

Combine those you get little girls who think they are women and think that being a woman means being a hoe.

I was scared to death of quicksand. Funny how the 90s cured all that.

Before that, space shuttles were going to crash, day after was today, basketball players dropped like flies, every morning g could be red dawn, and the Earth was turning into a Snowball. If you lived through that you were going to die in quicksand while building your fort in the woods.

Sex is actually way down than it used to be. Being a hoe was more popular in the 80s and such. Plenty data showing people are having less sex than ever. Doesn't mean stuff like this doesn't still happen.

You’ve got studies that show that women are having less sex?

Yes, we all know that fewer men are having sex. but this is due to hypergamy. which means that all the women are fricking the same dudes.

Yes. Sex is down across the board. And it has been falling for 50 years-- since the 1970s.

Age of first sex. Number of partners. Frequency of sex. Teen pregnancy. All down significantly and steadily for 50 years for both men and women.

Along with drug and alcohol use, miles driven, car wrecks, and other risky behavior.

All of that stuff peaked in the 70s and had been steadily going down ever since
