Yea just read that, I’ve even seen it with only complaint was dizziness. It’s odd the different complaints that can be for a heart attack but chest pain is going to be number 1

it's all in the Levi's, I mean genes

No previous symptoms "that I recognized" no meds of any sort. Pain in my back I was confusing with aggravating an injury
About a year ago I was having all sorts of weird pains in my chest area, shortness of breath and lack of energy. After a couple of hours of thinking about it, I finally went to the ER. After all of the tests, the cardiologist said my heart was in great shape and nothing happened to me. They asked me if I was prone to panic attacks, which I've never had. So now I am gun shy about overreacting to all of my aches and pains and will probably have to be bleeding or passed out before I go to ER again.
So, was it just a pain in your back that prompted you to go to the ER? I swear I have all sorts of twitches, sharp pains, etc that come and go and I wouldn't know when to pull the trigger again. I'm early 50's in good shape.

That’s interesting, did they say it was posterior MI? How many different 12 leads did they run on you at firestation?

Glad you made it through. Go easy on yourself for the rest of the summer and maybe get on your knees to thank your creator for the second chance. Not everyone gets a pass from those…

My apologies, myocardial infarction. I was asking if they put stickies on your back also. They usually start with chest but you can move them to back or even right side to be more thorough

You're fortunate. I had two stents put in the widow maker in 2015 and luckily avoided a heart attack. My GP saved my life for sure.
You're going to be on blood thinners for a year or more. A simple scratch will bleed for hours and you'll bruise easily. Other than that do what the doctor say and change your diet and your habits if needed. Best of luck to you!

While not a doc, I am old and have friends with us and no longer with us and have the following observation.
Muscle - can get some back but slow and probable not to get back where you were
Tubing - usually a stent but can get back to 75% - 90% in 3 - 6 month. Often with lifestyle changes you are better than you were
Parts - valves and such can be repaired / replaced and results vary
Electrics - pacemaker or meds and this can do wonders but will need to stay on drugs for life and will have to monitor your body more
The muscle one is the trickiest and c19 is real for damaging your heart this way. No chest pain, no numbness, no high blood pressure, and most of the stuff you are told are the warning signs. Often misdiagnosed as lung issue as the coughing is the symptom that shows early.

What were your symptoms? I’ve had sharp pains under my left shoulder blade, deep in my chest and down my left arm for about a month now. Also fatigued and occasionally a little dizzy when I stand. Am I dead already?

You gotta make some lifestyle changes. Clean up your diet, cut back in drinking, and once your doctor clears you for exercise get on that too. If you have sleep apnea get that fixed too.
Lifestyle changes (ON) LOL wife no pic's is all over it.
Looking forward to hearing what the Dr says about exercise and activity.
No sleep apnea.
I have pretty much been bulletproof my entire life eating bad with no exercise finally caught up to me apparently.

My uncle had the widowmaker. Doctors told him the only reason he survived is because he was a runner who was in really good shape for his age.

I honestly believe a lot of that is hereditary

Gets some hookers and blow for the 4th. Test out those stents. Have 911 on speed dial. If you make it to Wednesday you're good to go
