Heading there in feb. Still deciding between hotel terra, and Teton mountain lodge and snake River lodge...suggestions?

Terra and TML are next to one another. Terra prob has the best hot tub pool set up and is across the commons from the Moose. Terra has a restaurant called Osteria located in it, try their Brussels sprouts (I hate the damn things but they do something with bacon). TML has the spur restaurant, only place in the village that has Tvs for nfl Sunday ticket. Also ask for the "208" beer, local special and its 3 bucks. The carribean jerk chicken nachos and moose fries are also a good pairing for football/drinking/apres. With all of the hotels mentioned you will be walking 200 yards to tram/apres vous lift. Snake river would be the only one walking directly up hill. I've had staycations in terra and TML and they were very nice. No info on snake river rooms
Leave a beer on spur wall for lanticguy, would be much appreciated!!!

Go. It's absolutely amazing if you enjoy the outdoors.

Cheapest place to stay in the village is the hostel. If it's a boys trip and you don't care where you are passing out I would advise that place for the price.
Agreed. When I was backpacking there that's where we stayed. No frills but the price was right and it's within walking distance of all the restaurants.
You get a room with four beds (two of them are bunks), no TV but they do have wifi for a few bucks extra. It's a bit cramped but if all you want is a bed and a shower and access to everything it's fine. I'd stay there again.

Useless fact: my stepmother's dad constructed the antler arches right there in the main Townsquare.
I've stood there. That's awesome, man.

We did not go out every night because we had the kiddos with us, so many of our dinners were stovetop and microwave meals. Definitely check out the town square and go have a drink at the million dollar cowboy bar, to sit in the saddles along the bar. It is a very touristy place but is also something you should see whenever you are there. There are a ton of shops, restaurants, bars, and museums there are definitely worth seeing. They have done a great job of capturing the "American West cowboy" Heritage, you will feel like you step back in time at some of the art stores. Enjoy!
Dammit, we are taking the kids to Colorado in February, now I am wishing we had booked Jackson hole !

Jackson Hole is a really nice place. If you are going alone or just with some guys, I recommend staying at The Hostel. Great place, inexpensive and right in the middle of everything.

I loved it when I went a couple years ago. Great Mountains to board on, and it dumps a ton a snow every year. Never had to wait in line for more than five minutes for the ski lifts the entire week I was there. That was probably one of the best parts about it. I would recommend anyone give JH a try. It's a beautiful place.

Incredible. Favorite place on earth, and home to only the most famous ski run in north america.

You should show a vertical shot of that run.
BTW I'm guessing that poster that said it was expensive and long lines and the snow sucks was joking??
Best snow. Very few people and very difficult mountain.

As the saying goes, the billionaires are driving out the millionaires. Ballers should feel right at home.

I know snake river lodge isn't the four seasons, but is it nice enough for a week long trip?

Unbelievable and beautiful town. It is pretty expensive. One of the more difficult mountains to ski imo.
Posted on 11/12/15 at 8:35 am to buffbraz
I stayed at Teton mountain lodge it was a nice place. You do have a bit of a hike to get to the gondola or base lifts though. Not too bad.
Four Seasons would be optimal as its the only real ski in/out...
