Yeah, yunno, the guy who was falling down drunk hitting them was just a coincidence, I'm sure. With all the hundreds of cars whizzing past them on Perkins road, I'm sure it was just Branch's dumb luck that introduced his car to their bodies. That's perfectly reasonable.
Did the video evidence of him in the bulldog show that he was falling down drunk?

Anyone who rides their bike on the 5 lane portion of Perkins road--at any time of day, much less 10 or 10:30 pm--is playing Russian Roulette.
This is my feeling on the matter. I travel that way often and I've seen bicyclists riding in the suicide (no pun intended) lane in the middle of the night. Insane.
I've rode many a mile on my bike in this city from the 80s through the 90s. It's not safe this day and age to do such a thing (even though its perfectly legal and your right to do so).
The driver should and absolutely will be punished because he was drunk. I just hope more riders realize that its very dangerous to be on the road at night. I sure as hell know drivers aren't going to be any safer because of this tragedy.

You're done a little more than give an opinion. Just own it.

You are clearly too stupid to continue with this.

I'm smarter than you, of that there is no doubt.

no it's hyperbole by you with the hopes that no one else realizes it

So you've never had an opinion on a trial until the verdict was issued?
An opinion, yes. To call the defending lawyer and scumbag POS, no.

Or you've never disagreed with a verdict?
Of course....but it's usually based on very limited information.
As a general rule I don't go around calling lawyers doing their jobs scumbag POSs. I think my reasoning skills are a little more highly evolved.

Look man, its a shame what happened to the guys you know. And it looks as though this guy is guilty of sin.
I hope he goes away for a good while
That being said, this doesnt give you the right to attack the defense attorney.

Probably not better but definitely more logical

Sounds like the attorney is doing the best he can with a weak case. I don't get the hate.

If that's the best his lawyer can do, this guy is gonna fry.
...as he well should. He knowingly engaged in an activity that he KNEW could have dire consequences.

This should be pretty easy to disprove.
