Side question: Why do people involved in fender benders just leave their car parked in the road when they could easily pull off to the side of the road or into a parking lot? I've seen people have the most minor of fender benders stay parked in the middle lane of a busy highway rather than moving to the side.

People are freaking dumb. I've seen this several times on busy streets and the people refuse to move a minor fender bender as if they are tampering with evidence in a major case.
First thing police tell them when they get there to do is move it.

Same thing happened to a friend in Lafayette a couple weeks ago. Parked at a red light and a New Orleans evacuee slammed into the back of her. Evacuee then gets out of the cars screaming about being hit lol

Yep, there are signs on interstates that actually say "fender benders move to shoulder." I pass one every day. The police aren't going to refuse to write a police report because you move to the shoulder and get out of traffic.

she probably really does believe he hit the front of her car. I’m sure she was on her phone when the accident happened and thus has no idea what actually happened. From her warped viewpoint she was looking down at her phone when suddenly something jolted the front of her car. Add in the fact she’s gone her whole life without ever being responsible for anything, and this is what you get.
The really terrifying thing about this video, she’s just one of tens of millions of others just like her. And they all have the right to vote.

Because if you move the cars they can claim they didn’t rear end you. I’ll move when the cops arrive
