Very sorry to hear this. I’m a caregiver for my mother who has lung cancer. Cancer is just an awful disease. Prayers for strength and comfort for you and your family.

Seems like god already missed something in this situation.

Damn, Baw. My best to you for a quick healing and recovery.

I am also saddened at the news of your baby girl. She hasn't lived enough and seen enough things yet.

Good luck, mon frer.

As a father, I can’t even begin to imagine what you are going through. The Swedish Cancer Institute is full of excellent providers.

I am not familiar with your daughter’s diagnosis or treatment plan, but there have been some solid breakthroughs in the options for treatment of breast cancer in the last couple of months to years. I believe Trodelvy was recently approved in TNBC (maybe even in combo with Pembro) and Enhertu across all levels of HER2+ breast cancers. There may also be opportunities for participating in clinical trials and compassionate use of non approved drugs.

I wish you and your daughter the best!

Prayers for you and your daughter. I hope by some miracle you and your daughter both are able to live out years beyond your diagnosis and enjoy happy times. I can’t even comprehend what you and your family are dealing with.

May God bless you all.

have made the decision to switch my care and treatment to the UAB pancreatic oncology group.

This was a good call. Your previous doctor was my grandmother's doctor before she passed. We did not like them 1 bit. Still believe they helped accelerate her death.

I will say this. My grandmother had breast cancer 3 times, kicked its arse twice. 3rd time she was just too old and tired to fight anymore. Plus, my grandfather was in heaven and she wanted to be with him. Her first diagnosis was in the mid-90s, she lived till 2020.

So very sorry to hear. All I can suggest is to stay vigilant in your fight to keep her here. I joined multiple face book pages that had great information on non standard of care treatments. My wife had brain cancer and if not for research and being a strong vocal advocate for her they would have crippled her at the “top” institutions. The deficits she has today are direct result of not trusting my research and gut and listening to the “professionals “. Wil keep you and your daughter in my prayers!

I cannot imagine how you and your family must feel right now. Sending you good vibes and wishes for strength, comfort, and understanding for all of you. May we all treasure our time with loved ones as much as you and yours are doing.

Have someone in your family reach out to the Robert Reed Foundation . They offer services for families facing gastrointestinal cancers.

Praying for you and your family.
