15 is a lot but not unexpected at the power 5A schools.
For 3A... it is a lot for sure.
I believe most coaches have to be school system employees, they may allow a few "vounteeer" coaches.
WHen I played at a 5A school in the 90s, we had...
HC
OC / QB
WR
RB
OL
DC / LB
DL
DB
Special Teams
So that's 9. We also had three freshman team coaches who would also help out at the varsity and JV games.
So say 12 coaches. Id the OC and DC aren't position coaches, and you have another freshman / JV coach... that would be 15 on a varsity sideline.

This is a situation where a mediator should’ve been handing this. They now have sowed more animosity over a situation that could’ve/should’ve been resolved with a punishment but a agreed upon understanding of the “facts”
While the Carroll coaches shoulder the majority of the blame.. the situation was volatile and some of that wasn’t on the Carroll staff but the mistrusting environment they felt they were in..

There's been a lot of discussion that a similar situation happened with this coaching staff earlier this season at another game.
The penalty is probably excessive but I think the LHSAA wanted to drop the hammer on coach behavior. It's one thing for the few coaches in the box to have the dustup... but for coaches to cross the field and enter the stands to get involved is way, way, way beyond out of line.

Who did you want them to send? They sent the admin from the school to speak with them and they didn’t listen.

Carroll might have 4 or 5 paid coaches. The rest of them are volunteers or support staff (janitors, paras, bus drivers, etc.) they don’t get paid to coach. A lot of times former players will come back and volunteer to coach too.

Which is my point.. and why you send an administrator/mediator to gather facts. We only have conjecture about this behavior from earlier.. Get the parties on record and release agreed upon facts. That way this time around you can drop the hammer openly as all public entities should do anyway
If Carroll doesn’t want to meet then you can release that info first.. have them respond publicly if they feel they weren’t afforded the opportunity to fairly discuss
the incident.. if no mediation can be agreed upon then move forward with
punishment you(Lhsaa) sees fit..
Let’s all be honest. Not many people across the spectrum trust the lhsaa and their decisions.
ETA.. the basic spark seems to be language. Ok.. let’s see some evidence
But let’s not pretend the game results didn’t play into the animosity over the language which is why mediation is always better for both parties to attempt at looking through each sides viewpoint

All of this is complete B.S.
Carroll coaches should have acted like professional educators to begin with and there isn't an issue.

That is a lot of words to prove you are an idiot.

Watched the original video and it just sounds like a bunch of sounds, like I can't even hear people cursing.

Everything is either up or down with everyone these days.
Admin as in the lhsaa to meet and mediate what occurred.
People refuse to understand any nuance or conflict resolution when dealing with confrontational situations.. people keep referring to past instances with this staff.. We’re they documented? If yes then this would be an easier situation but none has been released as far as I’ve seen and right or wrong.. if people don’t want to address the mistrust between the parties then fine.. but don’t bitch when the tables are turned and unwarranted retribution occurs..

They got suspended so they had to meet the admin and plead their case

Tables are turned? If another group of coaches act like Assholes then I hope the same thing happens to them.

Tables are turned and retribution against whom? You mean the Carrol HS coaches will get retribution against the Franklin Parrish Sheriff's Office?

How old are you? HS teams have had a coach per position for forever...

Just read on the KNOE (Monroe’s CBS affiliate) Facebook page that arrest warrants have been issued for the Carroll coaches involved.
