The government is way too bloated. I have friends that with in the government and since Covid they don’t even have to work much. They don’t go in the office, they do not get much accomplished and Biden just kept adding government jobs to keep the numbers up.
If you’re being honest, there are identity of jobs in the private sector. I’ve been in a corporation for 18 years with no hiccups.

Trump hasn’t taken office yet, therefore neither Elon, nor anyone else connected to Trump and his upcoming administration, have cut any jobs. Your issue is with those who are currently in office.
