It's basically 2-3 weeks worth for a normal user.

1lb = 453.6 grams.

1 ounce = 28.35 grams.

This is an amount of pot that, as Ron White would put it, would make him say “I’m out of pot.”

Ahhhhhh. Thanks for clearing that up. I don't have a lot of knowledge on it, and thought it was a lot the way they were presenting it.

Thanks for letting me know, it is in fact, not a lot.

Why would anyone care if the guy had some pot?

As anyone could tell you I am not a fan of marijuana. But in this case the guy was just minding his own business in his apartment. It doesn't matter if he was shooting cocaine into his eyeballs.

The warrant they should be doing is on the cop’s apartment.

For her to be out of it enough to enter someone else’s apartment and shoot them, she’d either have to be extremely exhausted or high as frick IMHO.

The guy having a personal use amount of weed in his apartment matters how?

It’s not a factor and it shouldn’t have even been disclosed.

I'm NOT taking up for the cop, she's 100% in the wrong and I think the cops are using the weed to damage to the victim's character.

With that said, I can understand being exhausted and mistaking your apartment when every floor is identical to the floor above and below it. Get off elevator walk down similar hall and second the last door on the right, same set up no matter if it's #518 or #618.

We have all gotten off the elevator on the wrong floor.

I can see how she could have mistaken the wrong apartment, but what transpired afterwards I have more questions and doesn't not look good for her.

Again, she's wrong and should face jail time.

There's no reason the police should have been given a warrant to go through the victims house. I'm sure the police officer was given time to clean her house before it was searched. If it even was searched.

Excuse me sir, but if you read the beginning of the thread, you’ll note our resident police officers have confirmed that the perp/police officer here was NOT given any preferential treatment whatsoever.

It is standard procedure to obtain a search warrant for a crime scene. They have to recover the bullet casings, etc. if they found an illegal substance while conducting the search warrant, the police will confiscate it. That can’t and won’t leave it there because it wasn’t hers. Though I believe the warrant does not indicate who it belonged to. For all we know, it could be the officers.

I've said all along the Officer should do some jail time for killing the guy.

Given that, can you honestly not say that someone high would potentially act more irrationally to someone in their apartment? Instead of simply telling the officer she was in the wrong place, someone high could easily be more likely to freak out and give her a reason to shoot. That's not an excuse, but it is a very possible scenario.

Have you never smoked weed? That's not really a plausible scenario

You serious?

I don’t care if the guy was doing coffee enemas on bath salts; he was in his own house

I haven’t heard anything to indicate he acted irrationally. His apartment door was opened by a stranger and he investigated. In that split second how was he supposed to know it was really a cop coming into his apartment?

Clearly you've never smoked weed before or at least not with others. The idea that weed doesn't increase anxiety in some people and makes some people act irrationally to certain situations, especially something like someone coming in their apartment out of nowhere is actually pretty laughable.

I'm not saying the officer shouldn't do jail time. I'm saying it could be the difference between 10 years and 20 years type of thing.
