You are gonna get lots of advice. Not all of it will be good. Your and your wife’s natural instincts are usually all that’s needed.
Enjoy it. Mine is about to turn 3 and it’s been the best 3 years of my life.

The 1st day of kindergarten, look around the room at all the parents. You're stuck with those people in for the next 12 years for better or worse.
Ball games, sleepovers, etc.

She's right tho. Sleeping with the baby is dangerous. I know two couples who lost a child that way.
I fell asleep once with my son on my chest. Incredible nap, but that was a one time thing by accident. It scares me to even just close my eyes with him laying on me. It's definitely dangerous.

Lots of good advice in here.
We have two baby monitors. Neither one was expensive. One is just audio the other is a video/audio monitor. Had the audio one from day one then got the video monitor later. Love having the video monitor because sometimes it sounds like all hell is breaking loose in there but now I know all is good.
Watching my son have his nap right now.

Routine, routine, routine. My son is an absolute handful and is full throttle when he's awake but because of my wife being so adamant on routine my son loves to eat, take baths, sleep, etc. He's not even two yet and ask us to do all those things bcs he knows what times they are suppose to happen. I know a lot of people call BS on parents bragging about their kids sleeping, but mine does sleep like a champ and loves his bed. Almost two and sleeps 11+ hours at night and will take two hour naps. I really hope that continues.

Sleep as much as possible because you’re about to say bye bye to it.

Enjoy the ride. I know it's cliche, but it really does fly by.
This.
Also, let your kid be a kid. That means your kid will do many things that make you proud as hell one day then have you scratching your head the next.
Don't let the latter overwhelm the former.

She’ll have you wrapped around her little fingers from square one.
Be there for her. She’s going to learn how men need to treat her by how you treat her.
Build the bonds when she is little and sweet. Be her protector, her hero, her shelter.
When she starts to bleed and become a woman, she’s going to turn into a mean little cünt sometimes. Remember that she was your little sweet baby once so you don’t kill her. She’ll return to semi-normal one day, hopefully.
Your job is to keep her off the street and off the pole. Learn how to discipline effectively so she doesn’t run to the types she know will piss you off.
I haven’t got there yet, but i’ve seen fathers raise up daughters good and bad.
I dread when mine hits her teens. I will be a challenge.
Good luck. Just love her all you can.

Not advice, just a fact: that little girl is going to own you. And you are going to love it.
Congratulations!

However many diapers you think you'll need, buy 7x as many.
