My assumption is the police know this is some kind of family issue.
Only thing I can think of for there not being an all out push on finding her.

Maybe, but the FBI is involved. I would not think they would be called in for some sort of runaway or domestic situation. Something is very fishy. Need to send up the OT sleuth bat signal.

What is odd is the girls Facebook. Her tagline is
"I have depression don't mess with me"
She then lists a city in California as residence and has a boyfriend there. She was said to have no phone with her, yet a kid with that many snaps and a fb has a phone. So likely dad took.it away rencently.
I would bet she ran away to California.
I also say the father is negligent thinking 12 is old enough for a kid to travel from the east to the quarter on a bus alone.

I think it's a really bad move, but other people have different values, can't speak for them. Just seems like serving a softball up to the pervs of the world. Might not be on the bus 9 times out of 10, but it just takes one.

20 years ago as a 12 year old it wouldn't have been looked at odd at all... and crime was twice it is today....
Of course it all depends on maturity, but I know me and my two brothers at 12 were way more than capable of something like this. Most kids were heading home after school and would be there alone for several hours.

She's almost 13 but she seems much older to me.
She answered a tag in May saying she's had 3 breakups and is in love with a kid (who she also tagged).
In April there was a quiz asking how sexy she is.
She had a phone for sure as of last March.
Based on her public posts and comments from family she seems to have a good relationship with them. I hope she just got mad at them and is hiding somewhere safe.
