Update:
Possible fake news by local media. Apparently the “reporter” ran with the meth line because that was what was said on social media. Chief LeBlanc said the investigation wasn’t complete but there was no signs of a meth lab. Credit to Pico de Gallo, who said last night it wasn’t a meth lab explosion

Didn’t see it posted

ST. AMANT - Emergency crews are responding to a building fire on the 4500 block of Kid Bourgeois Rd., off Stringer Bridge Rd.

Sources in the fire department told WBRZ that the fire may have been started by a small meth lab explosion.

The call came in around 7:15 Wednesday evening.

No injuries have been reported.

Details are limited at this time, a News Two crew is on the scene.

meth lab explosion

A reason I've heard many hospitals have eliminated their burn centers.

What? Wouldn't meth lab explosions mean we need MORE burn centers?

IF it's a joke, I don't get it.

I think the people staffing the facilities don't want to deal with meth users, for a variety of reasons.

It's not a meth lab.

I had read due to the higher average medical costs that meth burn victims (compared to "normal" burn victims) have coupled with the typical uninsured victim has caused hospitals to have to drop their burn centers due to extreme money losses.

Lol I was right by there and could see a lot of black smoke and heard lots of sirens. Thought it was a house fire but being in St Amant, a meth lab explosion makes sense

The laborers won’t get their fix and will have to take more breaks. Prices are about to go up due to lost productivity

The majority of people living in AP and LP moved out there from BR for cheaper property, so is it safe to say BR folk made AP and LP trashy.
