We got the protocol for my oldest daughter’s school last week. Half of school on campus each day, virtual for other half. Switch every day. Don’t know if it will change after LaToya’s announcement, though.

I have heard from various sources that JBE cannot stand LaToya.

Not for long.....won’t be enough subs to teach for the sick teachers.

If one person test positive they will close down the whole school

I know that one Catholic school is 100% planning on being open. They've been prepping the campus for weeks now.

As someone that has been part of the process for a private school.. you don’t speak or have any knowledge regarding most private schools protocols.

The Catholic school my son goes to is planning to open.
Most of the teachers seem to be younger males who love what they do, so I don't see a bunch of them playing the fear game as a reason to miss school like many of the stupid arse public school teachers in Orleans parish.

I do know that they have a plan in place to separate the kids on campus and have the teacher teach in one classroom with some kids while the other half of the class sits in an empty classroom across the hall watching on a screen. They've installed cameras so teachers can keep an eye on them too. Then the next day the in-class teaching will switch. But their initial plan is to open as usual.

Soccer and tennis Mom's will come out in force to help those kids through the lesson plan. You underestimate the power of the privileged.

I paid for two kids K-12 private school and when there was a need, there were Mom's.

And dads. We always showed up to do work and would help raise $180K a year for the grammar school mine attended.

Yep and with no sports on top of these kids being home since March.....it’s not going to be pretty.
