I agree with this. But since this didn’t happen we have to ask why it didn’t happen.

Given what we’ve seen in the video and other accounts I think it’s highly plausible that they had another epic fight that got physical and the entire relationship was called off. One of them said f* all this I don’t want to be around you anymore.

This is when the split happens.

She says I’m going to go on my own to Oregon, find some people to take me, and you just leave me alone and take the van… we’ll figure that out later. She gets some of the camping gear and essentials so she can make it for several days camping out.

Not one to completely give up on it, Brian hangs around the area for a couple of days waiting on a phone call or text message. After a handful of days with unanswered calls and texts, he makes one last attempt to find her and is unsuccessful. He then drives home to Florida.

Days go by and he doesn’t hear from her. He doesn’t alert anyone or think it’s suspicious because,… well they just broke up. He supposes she’s wanting her distance/needs to clear her head. All the while time keeps ticking.

Keep in mind that these two have been dating for 4 or 5 years and they’re 22 and 23 years old. That’s to say, they haven’t experienced an “adult breakup” like many people have. I think it’s erroneous to apply relationship/breakup logic from our experiences to Brian and Gabby.

ETA: This is simply my own hypothesis and not known to be matter of fact at this time.

I've said it before,, the parents told him to get back to Florida and lawyer up.

Do we have proof he was back in FL? Like besides all the lies. Is there verified proof he flew back for a few days? Did someone fly back with him.

Gabby Petito’s father was involved in a "public service" incident report at her fiancé Brian Laundrie’s home on Sept. 10, nine days after he returned to Florida without her from a cross-country road trip and a day before she was reported missing by her mother, according to heavily redacted police reports.

Petito did not go to the home physically, North Port police said separately, but expressed concern about his daughter's whereabouts.

Nearly everything but the time and address is redacted due to the open investigation, but the documents do link Joseph Petito to a police incident report involving the home where his daughter lived with Laundrie and his parents at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 10. The address came up twice on Sept. 11 for follow-up investigations.


Now, Im confused. Don't they live in NY. They flew down didn't go over there, but had an altercation

from what i've read on various online sources, it appears that no one (aside from what his parents have said) has actually seen him...their attorney is in new york, so i assume he hasn't actually seen him...when the police went to their house on the 11th after GP's parents filed their missing persons report, they were simply handed a document with the attorney's info, so they didn't see him...i'm not aware of any neighbors who've reported seeing him...this whole thing is very frustrating!

Yep cause he told cops that he didn’t have money for hotel. He clearly did especially if he offered 200 bucks for a ride and flew back and forth.
