I'm really not sure what's worse - the fact that they allowed Brian Laundrie to leave the house on the 13th

Why would he have not been allowed to leave the house?

I think the Knights saw the writing on the wall long ago... I'm sure there are holdouts though.

People can change, but the world needs a lot fewer people that think and act like Brian and Gabby.

i assume the gators had a go turning the body into used chewing gum making it difficult to figure out where the leg bone connected to the hip bone.

i guess he won..? seems like years of legal battles dragging on and 3 hots & cot might have been a better way to go than being gator gum.

If someone shoots a gun in the forest and no one is around to hear it...does it still make a sound?

They identified the body based on dental records. What type of master criminals do you take these people for?

Man, they found this dude’s body at just the wrong time for me. I was wrapped up in the Braves/Dodgers series and before I knew it I was behind like 50 pages. That inconsiderate bastard.

And now that the mystery is pretty much over, I ain’t reading all that shite to catch up. But on its face, what I quoted above seems pretty retarded. I get why it would be really hard to identify his cause of death after just a week. It took a while to determine and release Gabby’s and I’m assuming his remains were in much worse shape considering where it was found.

But they haven’t given up yet, right? They’re not gonna turn the remains over to the Laundrie’s until they are completely through with the investigation, right? Does Gabby’s family even have her body yet? I know they had to have her memorial service without it because it hadn’t been released yet. And thinking the Laundries—with that fricking lawyer that’s their mouthpiece advising them—could have pulled anything like that off (hiding him as that moron above suggests) is fantastical nonsense.

I’m shocked that attorney has been able to keep them out of jail. They may not have even committed a crime, but he seemed to say or tweet the exact wrong thing at the exact wrong time at every turn. He is one of the biggest reasons they’ve been so demonized.

I may be in the minority here, but I think they’ve gotten a pretty raw deal. Their son made a terrible snap decision that they aren’t responsible for in any way, that lead to a chain of events where he’s now dead, the whole world seems to hate them, and now they can’t even mourn the death of their child. Their child. Of course Brian is the most at fault for all this, obviously, but I just feel bad for everybody involved—yes, including him, though clearly the least.

But it all sucks for both kids and both families whose lives are all ruined(or over) that started when a couple of immature kids made a stupid decision to drive around and live in a van for some internet clout when neither were clearly emotionally prepared to do it. One lost his shite in a brief moment, killed a beautiful, young child, and caused tons of irreparable collateral damage for a bunch of people, none of whom deserved it. He committed a monstrous act for sure, but I don’t think it’s as black and white as to paint him and his parents as the monsters that they’ve been portrayed as.

At that time he hadn't been charged with any crime and I'm not sure her body had even been found.
Hindsight they should have followed him but still he wasn't on house arrest or charged at that time so they had no authority to stop him.

The part where they mistook his mom for him on return is pretty bad.

Don't you know the parents are real estate moguls, and are laundering millions a day through the juice shop. Easy for them to Mission Impossible it, sneak out dump the skeleton remains, hack the dental records , switch them with the cadaver skeletons.
