Hope the notebook was in the dry bag; you’d have to think he wrote something before committing seppuku
Also wanted to repost what FunkyTide found now that I learned how to copy images from a post:

You're a strange, strange dude.
I can tell you while being 100% honest without an ounce of deceit in my heart that I did not think of you once when I posted that. Your moronic bullshite never crossed my mind when I typed that. It sounds like, though, even you are starting to realize how batshit fricking crazy you are. Get some help, Lee. For the love of all that is good and kind, talk to someone about your issues.

Fisherman finds weighted down gun in Fort De Soto
LINK
“Christopher Sacco was fighting a large fish. Or so he thought. He’d already lost it once and he wasn’t going to lose it again. When he finally reeled in the line, he realized he had the catch of the day.
But it wasn’t a fish. Instead, it was an abandoned gun.
Sacco, 35, was fishing off the shore of Fort De Soto Park before noon Saturday when he reeled in a Publix plastic bag. Inside the bag was a black revolver, with a rock secured to it by red and white twine.
“You’ve got be kidding me,” Sacco said to his friend. Sacco’s friend looked over to him. “I found a gun,” he said.
“He looked at me like, ‘Are you serious,’” Sacco said. “I’m like bro, I found a freaking gun.”
ETA that gator made pretty good time swimming up to Desoto to take a dump

How much blame is the officer receiving that responded to their domestic outburst on the side of the road? Had he arrested either or both, are they still alive today or would it have just prolonged the inevitable?

Most under discussed part of this case is in the 2nd body cam video from that stop. 2nd witness is asked several questions by the officer, and says they seemed to be "fighting like children" and "looked as if they were laughing about it". Claimed she was the aggressor, which maybe technically she could have went to jail for, but blaming the police is a little far-fetched IMHO.

I haven't seen a single comment about that in this entire thread? I've seen several call him a woman beater, and claim him as the aggressor. I also think her demeanor during the police interaction was 100% an act, a manipulation, and likely was that way anytime she was caught doing something wrong. Now do I think he killed her? Absolutely. He's still a piece of shite, but she likely was as well, which is why they were so toxic.

Brian shot himself then threw his gun in the water

I don’t think he believed in guns. Besides that probably would have been the easiest cause of death identify.

Which officer? The one with the 666 tattoo?

The notebook could end this thread. Hopefully they'll release it.

I'm really not sure what's worse - the fact that they allowed Brian Laundrie to leave the house on the 13th or that they thought he returned on the 15th (it was his mom).
"The North Port Police Department said on Monday that they mistook Brian Laundrie for his mother, Roberta Laundrie while conducting surveillance on the household in early September."
"During a recent interview with WINK News in Florida, North Port Police Public Information Officer Josh Taylor said the department watched Laundrie leave his home on September 13 and then believed he returned home in his Ford Mustang on September 15. However, the North Port Police Department later learned that the person in the vehicle was Brian's mother, Roberta Laundrie."
