Most people are going to have trouble making well thought out choices after an event that causes the death of their fiancé.
Absolutely. If this was planned, he's a complete idiot. But without planning this, with all of the emotions riding high, he's actually done a fairly decent job so far. He's made some mistakes, but he has created a huge head start for himself and really could be anywhere.
I sure hope he doesn't just disappear forever though.

Most logical post in this thread.

shite, with masking still a thing right now, he could be hiding in plain sight.

Completely agree. If he was planning this there would be an obvious alibi and story conjured up. Something like taking her phone and texting himself from her phone while he was "out camping alone" saying "I'm going out by myself for a couple days if I'm not at the van when you get back." His phone is buried somewhere while he takes her body and finds a spot below a big cliff. He goes back to the van and calls and texts her for a couple days then reports her missing and lets someone else find her at the bottom of the cliff. Reasonable doubt that he did anything at all wrong and an obvious narrative for what happened

Ok...but why not just drive the van?
He would have had to driven by a Ranger station and then driven through the entrance to get to Colter Bay. I also think someone else was involved because nobody has come forward saying they gave him a ride to Colter Bay. When I was there you would have noticed someone walking on the side of the road through bear country.

Without bringing too much technical stuff into this thread again, the cellphone would have pinged off the same tower and they would have easily seen the phones were in close proximity of each other.
1st you aren't getting signal out there to send or receive a text message. I know when I was in that area I typically didn't text messages until around the Oxbow Bend area.

This thread had become a cesspool of speculation. I predict another 100+ pages of the same while the general public waits for something factual to come out. Criminal investigations don't move on the same pace as the internet sleuths.

Hell, on Law and Order it goes from crime to arrest to verdict in less than 60 minutes.

No one is making you read the thread. You can go wait with the general public and hysterically comment on BL's Instagram calling him a POS if you want. Sounds boring to me

I would like to know where they went… Did he leave some supplies at a location for him to retrieve at some later date?
They also could have gotten rid of evidence during this three day trip. Since the FBI has access to his phone shouldn't they be able to pull this info by now?

When the scumbag is caught, who would you rather have prosecuting the case?

Posted on 9/23/21 at 8:02 pm to BamaGradinTn
I know who I'd want prosecuting my case:
And by 'prosecute' I mean 'ride'
And by 'case' I mean 'my penis.'

Things are heating up.
quote:
Frank Figliuzzi, a former assistant director for counterintelligence at the FBI, predicted that Brian Laundrie’s parents will soon be summoned to a grand jury.
“I would expect that to happen momentarily, see them in front of a grand jury, and then if they are not going to cooperate, they can get charged with contempt or obstruction,” Figliuzzi said. “There is no parental-child privilege, and I actually thought, by now, we would see them summoned to the grand jury. We now have an indictment, it’s a federal case.”

Due to interstate commerce.
Frankly, that is a joke.

That could be why the parents went to see that new lawyer in Orlando today. It is certainly going to be hard for them to explain why they didn't report her missing when she lives in the house.
