Cliffs from the past 24 hours?

Does cause of death being homicide mean she was murdered?

Can’t homicide mean something other than murder?

I missed it. So, they confirmed it was her and that her death was a homicide?

Yes, but they haven't released how she died (blunt force trauma, strangulation, etc)

Homicide means "human killed human." It could still be self-defense, but it will be very hard to explain why a grown man would have to use lethal force against a woman.

I saw a photo of what looks to be like laundrie in the woods. Looks like a camera to photos deer.
If that’s the case, his car was left there. He’s got to be there. He might have climbed up in a tree and hanged himself?

It will have to be in the charging document, which will have to be made public.

Well looked it up in the dictionary just to double check, but here was the definition:

quote:

the deliberate and unlawful killing of one person by another; murder

The dictionary reflects a colloquial definition that confounds the definition between "homicide" and "murder."

Technically, death resulting from self-defense is still considered a homicide. But it is justifiable and therefore legal.

CONFIRMED FROM @NorthPortPolice: Divers with an underwater recovery team have been called to the Carlton Nature Preserve.

I’m told not to read too far into this news.

Ehh, well I did look it up in the dictionary before I posted it so I wouldn’t look like an idiot, and when it said murder in the definition, it seemed like I was right. Guess not.
